Father's Regret

    A feeling of weakness crept up inside of Negaduck as he held a picture of him and Gosalyn. His hand was actually trembling as he set the set the frame down. For once in his life, he felt he had made a mistake. Negaduck turned, and began to head out of his hideout. He walked over to a circle of inscriptions that he had written on the bridge. After slitting his palm, he allowed his blood to drip onto the symbols. There was a flash of blinding light, and a shadowy rabbit appeared inside the circle.

    "What the....What's the big idea?!" tex shouted as he looked towards Negaduck. Drake simply slashed Tex's arm with a white knife. "Agh!!!" Shouted Tex, clutching his arm. "ivory." Negaduck explained. "All demons are vulnerable to it. Now. You have something I need, and you are going to give it to me." He said, his voice almost a growl. "I know you can travel through time." Tex rolled his eyes. "But not to any destination of my choosing. Thanks for reminding me." He said in an annoyed tone. "Exactly." Negaduck said with a malicious grin. As he grabbed Tex's arm, the circle flashed a second time.

When the duo opened their eyes, they found themselves in a much cleaner saint canard. "Must be right after the friendly fools met dipwing..." Negaduck muttered to himself as he tied an ivory chain around Tex's neck. As Tex attempted to bite through it, Negs slashed him across the face with the knife. "HEY! Do you have any idea how many elephants I had to kill to make these!?" He shouted as Tex clutched at his face in agony. "Come on you whimpering sack of shit!" Negaduck said as he dragged Tex towards the bakery, where he knew the fight would occur.

    Tying Tex to the entrance like a dog, Negaduck shot a smoke grenade into the bakery. As everyone was dazed, he knocked out his past self, and hid him in the janitorial closet. Quickly, Negaduck took the place of his other self, and started to swiftly, and brutally, overwhelm Quackerjack. Much to the Jester's surprise, instead of killing him then and there, Negaduck held a knife to his throat, and a gun to his head. "Listen up you KNOBS!" Negaduck shouted at the heroes. With a glare, he made it quite clear that he would kill Quackerjack if they tried anything. "We are going to have ourselves a good old fashioned trade." Said Negaduck, with a chilling tone that hushed the room. ""You get giggle boy here, and I get to leave with my little girl."

    Quackerjack gave a his teammates a quick look, that told them that he would be willing to make the sacrifice. However, the choice would not be theirs to make. Gosalyn stepped out from behind Megavolt, and walked up to Negaduck. "NO! Gosalyn don't!" Quackerjack shouted, but Negs hit him on the head, knocking him out. As everyone turned away, from what they expected to be a gruesome sight, they instead saw the sight of Negaduck hugging his daughter.

    Then....The unthinkable happened.....Negaduck began to cry. "I'm so sorry Gos!!!" he sobbed as he clutched her closer. "You mean your going to give up your life of crime?!" Gos asked with excited glee. "What?! Heck no!" Negaduck replied, his familiar sinister grin returning to his face. "Being evil is way too much fun!" He exclaimed, as he ran out of the bakery with Gosalyn in his arms. Later that night, after reading Gosalyn to sleep with Coraline, Negaduck returned to the still chained up Tex, who was chucking fireballs into the street in boredom. Negaduck had them return to the present, and then released Tex. "Go on scampering back to hell." Negaduck muttered, before heading back towards his house. A smile had plastered itself to his face, for her knew that when he got home, his little girl would be there waiting for him.
